The Michael Spacek Motocross Track in Holice is a beautiful natural track with a length of 1955 metres and a minimum width of 6 metres. The track is available for training by appointment by phone at +420 602 307 390, on Tuesdays 14:00-20:00, Thursdays 14:00-20:00 and Saturdays 10:00-20:00 (*changes of times reserved).

This track was created by the Spacek family in memory of Mischa on family land (partly land of the Götzl family). This track is run by friends of Mischa Spacek for the joy of motocross.

I would like to thank the Spacek family for allowing motocross training on a part of the motocross track of Mischa Spacek in Holice – Poběžovice.

The motocross track on the land of Mr. and Mrs. Spacek was and is always perfectly prepared and sprinkled. And even though this preparation of the track for each training costs a lot of free time and considerable financial resources, the trainings are always free of charge. I would be very happy if the training on the track would continue.

I would like to thank the Spacek family for the opportunity to participate in the trainings in the area of Holice racecourse. This year I have participated with my son in several training sessions in Holice and it was extremely pleasing for me that the track was always perfectly prepared. There are several other tracks in the area where they are able to prepare conditions for training, but logically there is “something” to pay. Every racer probably knows that the maintenance of tracks involves a considerable investment, not only financially, but also in time. We were even more satisfied with the training on the prepared track, where we did not pay anything at all! Probably the only drawback of these successful trainings was the impossibility to use the whole holica track. This is a venue that has been written in bold letters in the history of world motocross and I don’t think I have ever met a motocrosser who didn’t want to race in Holice. Thanks to its history, this track carries a special “magical” power and should definitely be preserved in all its glory for future generations of racers.

What has been happening on the Holická track lately is unbelievable. The disputes between the two owners are interfering with our favourite sport, which used to have a high level in Holice. It is a great pity that after the disputes the track was divided into two halves, but I was very pleased when Mr. Spacek allowed and adapted his half of the track for training, which he took perfect care of and maintained. Not only were the training sessions free of charge, but he also sprinkled the track during the high heat so that the local houses and the whole village would not be dusted. I would really like to see the disputes resolved as soon as possible and the track, which was world class, returned to our midst.
